Luxxle is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it to make your experience and your Luxxle AI assistant smarter for you, and the control you have over it. It applies to Luxxle search, the Luxxle AI assistant, and the Luxxle Browser.
Luxxle uses your data to personalize your experience and make your Luxxle AI assistant smarter and more helpful for you — not to build an advertising profile.
We never sell or share your personal data, and our ads are contextual — matched to your search, never used to follow you around the web.
Personalization is optional and deeper data use is opt-in. You can review or delete your data at any time, or turn personalization off on our Preferences page.
We protect your searches with an encrypted connection to shield them from interference or leakage.
Our privacy practices are guided by leading privacy laws and frameworks, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). We apply their core principles — transparency, purpose limitation, data-subject rights, and accountability — to all users, wherever they live.
Search engines generally fall into two camps. Some (like Google) profile you in order to sell advertising that follows you across the web. Others (like DuckDuckGo or Brave) delete everything, which protects your privacy but keeps your experience generic and forgetful — it can never learn what you actually want.
Luxxle is a third way: we use your data only to make your own experience and your own AI assistant smarter — never to sell ads or track you across other sites — and you can turn it off or delete it whenever you want.
Luxxle uses cookies — small pieces of data stored on your device — to remember your preferences (such as country, language, safe search, news filters, new windows, autocomplete, and personalization). Luxxle’s own cookies do not track your browsing across other websites, and they expire if you haven’t used Luxxle in 90 days. Ads shown on search pages are contextual, matched to your query rather than to a profile of you — see “How do ads work on Luxxle?” below. If you have an account or personalization enabled, we also associate certain activity — such as your searches and interactions — with you so we can tailor your results and make your Luxxle AI assistant more helpful. You control this: you can turn it off or delete it (see “What are my privacy rights and how do I exercise them?”). We use data to keep Luxxle secure and to filter spam and abuse, and we use only the data needed to deliver relevant results. To return results, some data — which may include your IP address, user-agent string, query string, and settings such as country and language — is processed by the information partners that help power parts of Luxxle, under contractual restrictions on how they may use it.

Unlike search engines that discard everything you do, Luxxle can remember your activity so your experience gets better over time — more relevant results, a search experience tailored to you, and a Luxxle AI assistant that understands your context and preferences. We use your data for two purposes: (1) to personalize your own experience, and (2), where you opt in, to help improve Luxxle’s products and AI for everyone.
Both are under your control. Personalization is on by default and can be turned off on the Preferences page. Using your data to improve our broader products and AI is strictly opt-in — it stays off unless you choose to enable it. We never use your data to sell advertising or to target you across other websites.
We only use your personal data to train or improve Luxxle’s AI if you have opted in. When you do, your data helps make the AI more intelligent and better at understanding what you need. You can withdraw this permission at any time on the Preferences page or by contacting us, which stops any future use of your data for this purpose. We do not use special categories of sensitive data (such as health, political, or religious information) for these purposes without your explicit consent, and we apply safeguards to the data we do use.
Because Luxxle is built to serve you over time, we keep your data for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide and improve the features you use. You are never locked in — you can review or delete your data at any time, and if you close your account we delete or de-identify the associated personal data, except where we are required to keep certain records by law. Preference cookies expire if you haven’t used Luxxle in 90 days.
You control your data with Luxxle, wherever you live. You can access the data we hold about you, correct or update it, delete it or close your account, export it and take it elsewhere, withdraw consent for personalization or AI improvement, and opt out of any sharing of your data for advertising.
Under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), you also have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising — our ads are contextual, not based on a profile of you — so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To make any of these requests, use our contact page. We respond within 30 days (or 45 days where permitted for California requests).
The Luxxle Browser is designed to keep your browsing private and on your device. By default, your browsing history, bookmarks, and site data are stored locally on your device — Luxxle does not receive or store them. The browser blocks third-party trackers and intrusive ads by default, helping stop other companies from profiling you as you move around the web, and it includes a private browsing mode. If you choose to sync across devices, your synced data is encrypted so that it stays private to you. The browser may collect limited, privacy-preserving diagnostic information to fix crashes and improve stability; where this is not essential to operating the browser, you can turn it off in the browser’s settings. Any Luxxle account features you use in the browser — such as personalization or your Luxxle AI assistant — follow this Privacy Policy.
Luxxle shows ads on search results pages to support the service. The ads are contextual — matched to your current search terms, not to a profile of you or your browsing history. We work with advertising partners including Google, Microsoft (Bing), and System1 to supply these ads, but we do not sell or share your personal information with them, and they do not receive your search history or your identity. Ads only appear on search pages — the rest of Luxxle remains ad-free.
When you select a search result with Luxxle, you will be directed to that website. The privacy and security practices of other websites are not covered by the Luxxle Privacy Policy.
Yes. The Luxxle Browser blocks third-party trackers and intrusive ads by default, keeps your browsing history on your device, and includes a private browsing mode — so other companies can’t build a profile of you as you move around the web. See “What does the Luxxle Browser collect?” above for details.
No search engine can ever provide perfect protection of your search related data, because other parties - such as your internet service provider or your browser for example – may still be able to access it. To improve overall privacy, you may consider security tools like a VPN and using a privacy conscious browsers or services like TOR.
Luxxle is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Luxxle may change or update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top, and your continued use of Luxxle means you accept the changes.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding our Privacy Policy, please contact us via the contact page. We respond as quickly as possible within 30 days.
