Terms of Ranking
Introduction
This section provides information regarding criteria that may affect the ranking of results from Luxxle’s search engine results pages, the processes driving these rankings, as well as the terms by which content, services, or products can be referenced or de-referenced. These criteria are subject to refinement and change.
Ranking
The Luxxle search engine allows users to find content and webpages that are related to the keywords entered in the search query.

Our results include content from the Luxxle search index database that is built by robots (from the “Luxxlebot” family) that regularly browse the internet for sites, pages, and updates which are then added to the Luxxle indexing database. More information about our bots can be found on our bot page.

Results from the Luxxle search index may be ranked by algorithm or by our neural search models, or both. Ranking and sorting is done according to content relevance across many criteria. These criteria may include the frequency, occurrence, and context of content from a webpage, the date and seniority of a webpage, the traffic and popularity of the site on which the webpage is hosted, the readability of the webpage, and its accessibility, for example.

No commercial agreements ever influence or affect the calculation of relevance. However, ads that are related to keywords entered in a query may be inserted into the search results, and they are displayed with the word “Ad”. Furthermore, Luxxle may display its services or those of its partners in dedicated inserts, without altering the ranking of webpages in the results.

In addition to content from the Luxxle search index, results served by Luxxle are derived from third-party sources such as Airbnb, Amazon, Apple, Booking.com, Encyclopedia Brittanica, Expedia, Facebook (Meta), Foursquare, IBM, IMDb, LinkedIn, Mapbox, Microsoft, Odysee, OpenStreetMap, Opentable, Oxford Dictionaries, Quora, Reddit, Rottentomatoes, Rumble, Spotify, TMDB, TripAdvisor, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter (X), Vimeo, Wikipedia, Yelp, YouTube, ieX Cloud, among others. Luxxle makes the best effort to find and return the most relevant content for users, but the results are not always exhaustive. If you would like to have your website added to our index, please contact us, however we don’t guarantee the visibility of your site in the search results.

When you search for location-based information, Luxxle can show users a map of the location they are searching for and a list of points of interests that correspond with the search query. In these results, ads may appear under the name “Ads”. These ads are ranked based on a variety of criteria that include the geographical relevance of the ad to the request made, the relatedness of the ad description to the query, and the ratings and reviews given by people to the business or point of interest referred to in the ad. If you would like to have a point of interest added or removed, please contact us.

If you have any questions or comments about any of our ranking terms, please contact us through our contact page.
